Velocity Based Training (VBT)
Strive Coaching now incorporates Velocity Based Training (VBT) for 1-to-1 clients. VBT uses technology to measure the speed of each lift, providing real-time feedback on how quickly the bar is moving.
Rather than relying only on estimated percentages or fixed weights, VBT allows training loads to be adjusted based on the athlete’s actual performance on the day. This ensures athletes are always training at the intensity needed to develop the specific quality targeted in that session, whether that is maximum strength, explosive power, or speed-strength.
