Frequently Asked Questions
Who is personal training for?
Personal training is for anyone looking to improve their strength, fitness, confidence, or overall health — regardless of experience level. Whether you’re completely new to training or returning after time away, programmes are tailored to your starting point and goals.

Do I need to be fit before starting?
Not at all. Many clients start with little or no training experience. Your programme is designed around your current ability, with progressions that build confidence and results safely over time.

Will my programme be personalised?
Yes. Every programme is tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and experience level. Training is adjusted as you progress to ensure steady, sustainable improvement.

How often should I train?
This really depends on your goals, experience, and what fits comfortably into your lifestyle. Most clients train around 2–5 times per week, but there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.
We’ll work together to create a plan that feels realistic and enjoyable, while still helping you make great progress on your physical development journey. The goal is to build something that works for you — not against your schedule.

How will I access my programme?
Your programme will be delivered via Microsoft Excel, which allows me to use built-in formulas to accurately track progression and make adjustments where needed.
I recommend downloading the Microsoft Excel app on your device (such as your phone or tablet) so you can easily access your programme anytime, anywhere. If you prefer a physical copy, your plan can also be sent via email for you to print and use on paper.

Can you my programme help with weight loss?
Yes. Training programmes can support fat loss by improving strength, fitness, and consistency. The focus is on building sustainable habits rather than quick fixes.

I have previous injuries — can I still train?
In most cases, yes. Training can usually be adapted to work around previous injuries or limitations, so you can continue progressing safely and confidently.
During the initial needs analysis, we’ll look at your individual situation and create a plan that supports safe training, includes injury-prevention strategies, and builds strength where you need it most — helping you move forward in a positive, sustainable way.

Do you provide nutrition plans?
I offer general nutrition guidance and practical advice to help support your training goals, with a focus on building sustainable habits rather than restrictive dieting.
While I have experience and knowledge around effective nutrition strategies, I am not a qualified nutritionist or dietitian. Any guidance provided is for educational purposes and should not replace personalised medical or clinical nutrition advice.

How long before I see results?
Most clients begin to notice improvements in strength, energy, and confidence within the first few weeks. Long-term results come from consistency and progressive training over time.

Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in the gym, outdoors, or through online coaching depending on your preference and the service you choose.

Do you offer online coaching?
Yes. Online coaching can include a individualised physical development plan, regular check-ins, and ongoing support to help you stay on track wherever you train.
