My Story

My journey into training began in South Africa when I first stepped into a gym in 2004 at just 14 years old. From that moment, physical development became a constant part of my life — something that would later shape both my career and my outlook on resilience.

In 2007, I joined the army, where physical training was not just a passion but a daily requirement. After three years of service, I was forced to leave due to trauma injuries to my legs. A significant period of rehabilitation followed at Hedley Court HM Forces Physical Rehabilitation Centre, where I experienced firsthand the challenges — and importance — of structured recovery and intelligent training. During this time, I also had the opportunity to meet well-known figures such as Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and Harry Redknapp alongside the Tottenham football team.

Rehabilitation became a turning point rather than an ending. In 2013, I completed the London Marathon — a personal milestone that reinforced the power of patience, consistency, and purposeful training.

In around 2017, I began focusing seriously on strength and power development under the guidance of a highly knowledgeable coach. This period helped me build strong technical foundations and a deeper understanding of effective training principles. While I had aspirations to compete in powerlifting, previous injuries ultimately made that path difficult — further strengthening my appreciation for smart, sustainable progression over ego-driven training.

In 2020, I took on another challenge by applying for the television series SAS: Who Dares Wins. Although I passed the physical fitness testing stages, I narrowly missed selection following the live interview process — an experience that again reinforced the value of preparation, discipline, and mindset.

Today, I am close to completing my Level 4 Full Strength & Conditioning qualification accredited by the NSCA.  I am also studying towards the Youth S&C Pathway and I am enrolled to begin a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary’s University later this year (2026). My approach to coaching is built on real-life experience — combining performance training principles with a strong emphasis on resilience, longevity, and helping clients become stronger, healthier, and more capable for life.
